Day 77
Spring is here!! All I have to say to our worst winter ever is 'Goodbye and Good riddance'!! I took this picture of Brady today while we were playing with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. Jack was running and sweating and I have to say there is no smell more pure and innocent than sweet baby sweat.

Day 76
The sunset today was absolutely stunning. This picture doesn't do it justice as I was on the interstate when it was the most gorgeous, and shot this when I got home. Even though the picture doesn't show it's true beauty, I can look at it and remember the real thing.

Day 75
Meet Miss Ella. She is my friend Kristie's little girl. They came over today and she and Brady played together. Brady came to me and said "Momma, I want the girl to be my girlfriend" so I told him to ask her and he did, and we heard her say "sure!". It was the cutest.thing.ever. They came in the living room and sat next to each other on the couch and watched Team Umizoomi. He then whispered in my ear "Momma, I love Ella". Oh, to be 3 again!

Day 74
Some of you may know I make custom cards/invitations/etc. but I have never ventured into the world of printing them, until now. I have always sent a flattened .jpg version for the customer to print themselves. It was so different getting to see my design printed, and I have to say -- I love the way it turned out! I tied them up with a little bow and sent them off to their owner!

You see that little girl? We don't call her Amazing Grayce for nothing. Today we celebrated her 2nd birthday. She is such a miracle. She was born with caudal regression syndrome/sacral agenesis and what you are seeing here is just one of the many ways she is defying all odds.
We love you Grayce!!

Today was birthday picture day! I actually had 4 session today and my trigger finger was EXHAUSTED!! I absolutely love the expression on Brady's face in this picture. It is one of the last baby-squishy-faces will will give me!

Jack and I have the same opinion on his new haircut. His expression shows it all. It's alright, hair grows back :) I am so worried that with his double cowlick and double crown he will have to always get haircuts that look like haircut purgatory (always in between cuts).

Day 70
Jack's imagination is running wild these days and I absolutely love it. He made a train out of his chicken fingers during lunchtime today. The bottom two pictures represent what happens when big brother steals a chicken finger to make his own train!
(Don't worry, the chicken finger was returned to it's respective owner)

I got my new glasses today, and WOW I had no idea how bad my vision was. Everything is super crisp and sharp now! I have been getting less headaches as well. Woohoo!

Day 68
This evening I had the chance to have dinner with a friend/mentor of mine, Gina aka The Feminist Breeder (thefeministbreeder.com). I have to say, dinner was pretty awesome. Gina is so sweet and intelligent, and very funny. I wish we had more time to chat, because I know I had so much more to say, and I don't think we even got to discuss half of the things I would have liked. I hope the VBAC convention is in this area again next year, maybe we can make this an annual event. :)

We took a trip to the park today. It was so gorgeous that we couldn't miss the opportunity. Brady was such a little model and let me get so many wonderful shots of him. This picture is SO Brady!

I have the best little laundry helper in the world. He absolutely loves to help, so I always make sure to do laundry when he is awake. With every piece of clothing he throws into the washer or dryer he yells "YAY!".

Day 62
Today Steve had to get his OC qualification, meaning he was hosed with pepper spray and had to run a small obstacle course. He was miserable for hours trying to clear it off of his face, and water kept reactivating it. He finally tried milk (per a Google suggestion) and it worked! BTW -- he hates me for taking this picture! hahaaa

Day 61
I cleaned out my purse today and found about $15 worth of loose coins. I don't clean my purse very often (once a year... maybe?) so when I do the boys thoroughly enjoy it. I always let Brady take the change and fill his piggy bank, but this year he got to share with Jack. Jack had so much fun and he was really good at fitting the coins into the slot. Every time he picked up a penny he would hold it out and say "Ohhhh"!

Day 60
The boys are in a very lovey phase right now. It is hugs and kisses all day long. The best part is that Jack says "AWWW" in a very high pitch every time they hug. I know this phase won't last long, so I am going to cherish it while I can.

The boys had such a great time at Makenna's birthday party today. Brady had a blast playing with her Black & Decker tool bench. The funny part is that we have the *same* tool bench at home and he never touches it!

Today we had a photo session with my friend Leslie's 1 month old daughter Ellie. I was so happy that Jack let me snap a few shots of him as well. This is one of my all time favorite pictures of Jack. It captures the beauty of his bright blue eyes along with so much of his character.

The assisted living facility where my Great Grandmother lives threw a reception in her honor for all of her volunteer work. It was a very special night and I am so glad that we were able to partake in the event!
