Day 111
I took this picture of Brady right before bed tonight. Earlier today he took a nasty spill head first onto the floor and really did a number on his nose. Hopefully that will teach him to stop jumping on the bed, as we have told him many times before.

Day 110
Both of my boys love to brush their teeth. That is the first thing they do in the morning... race to the bathroom and see who can grab the Thomas training toothpaste first. We brush them first and then let them have at it. I love little toothbrush smiles as "hakunah matata" and "bear necessities" play through their mouths.

Day 109
Here we go again. Filling out stupid applications for temporary places to live that we can't really make a home because we don't know how long we will be there. With so many moves in the past 5 years I cannot tell you how I want so desperately to find a permanent place to live. I hate moving, hate it.

Day 108
Today we celebrated the boys birthdays in style at Chuck E. Cheese. They both had a wonderful time and I really wish the parties lasted longer. I love being surrounded by family and friends and I certainly needed it at the end of this horrendous week.

Day 107
Today I had a reshoot and cute little E got to try my new parasols. I love that shot of her. Her cute little feet peaking out from the vibrant purple parasol. Later in the evening I went to my Aunt and Uncles house to do my cousins makeup for prom. We took her to prom and then headed to the store. I almost peed myself when I took this picture of my Aunt in the motorized cart. She is only using it because *I* made her hurt her foot (or at least that is what she is telling people, LOL).

Day 106
I had a session today with a Mommy I had met through iVillage. Even though we had never met in person I felt like I already knew her. Her little girl is so so cute. I love the wonderment in a child's eyes when they blow bubbles. Something so simple can make them so happy. Our session was cut short due to nasty weather, but we had fun and got a few great shots while we were there.

Day 105
I have been pretty busy with sessions lately which I am so grateful for. I had one today with a friend of mine for her daughters 2 year portraits. I love this shot. The feet, the tutu, the little pink lawn chair.... love.

April 14, 2010

Day 104
This evening my cousin Sammi and I went downtown to do a pre-prom photo session. We had so much fun and I must say that teenagers are much easier to work with than toddlers! This is one of my favorite shots of the evening.

April 13, 2010

Day 103
Yes, we are totally those people that throw spaghetti on the ceiling to make sure it is done.

April 12, 2010

Day 102
The worst day so far this year. One of those omg-wtf-are-we-going-to-do. type of days. We cried, we hugged, we hoped this was all a bad, stupid dream. At the end of the day my baby boy wanted to climb on my lap and give me snuggles. That is what life is all about, love.

April 11, 2010

Day 101
This morning we joined our friends for breakfast. He is redeploying and it was his last day at home. I think it was harder watching someone say goodbye than having to say goodbye to my own husband. Later in the evening we had an unplanned cookout with Gaga :) The boys blew bubbles and we all sat around and talked. It was a truly great day.

April 10, 2010

Day 100
This is the house. The 2nd one we looked at. We love the space, the location, the landscaping, the price. It was all us. It just needs a little TLC & modernizing and it will be perfect.

April 9, 2010

Day 99
Today I decided to grab my camera and take it to Jack's room when he woke up. There is nothing cuter than a baby (or toddler, whatever) who is freshly awake. The picture of him holding out his hands just absolutely melts me.

April 8, 2010

Day 98
The boys and I went to visit my Great Grandma today. Some of our family was there that we haven't seen in a long time. It was so nice to visit and catch up on things. I spotted this tulip in her garden and knew I wanted a picture.

April 7, 2010

Day 97
No picture today. I have been so stressed out and taking a picture today totally slipped my mind. :(

April 6, 2010

Day 96
My bed. We have been living here since October and we just came across the box with most of our bedding. This is the first time our bed has fully been made since we have lived here and I love love love it.

April 5, 2010

Day 95
I had a session today with my friend Heather and her gorgeous girls. Her sweet baby was the perfect model for my petal hat. I couldn't be happier with the way these shots turned out. Her bright blue eyes just melt my heart.

Day 94
Easter. A day filled with family, friends, food, laughter, egg hunts, candy, and love. We had a great day. I think my pants were unbuttoned by 4 pm. My family had a wonderful day together. There were so many people that you don't have enough time to talk to everyone, but seeing everyone smiling and laughing is enough to make you happy. I was so glad to get to spend Easter with my Bambaw. Towards the end of the day she and my Mom looked through a cabinet full of my Nanny's things, and we all wished she could have been there. Easter is a hard time for us because my Nanny passed away on Good Friday. Easter was also her favorite holiday, so we take time every year to appreciate who she was.

Day 93
This morning Steve took Brady fishing for the first time with his new Spiderman pole and tackle box. I love how serious Brady looks in the picture. They had a blast even though Brady didn't catch a fish and got a little scrape on his knee. Later in the evening we went to my Moms house to carry out a tradition of pre-Easter cooking and dying eggs. This was the first year Brady participated in the egg dying and he was very particular about how he dyed his eggs, he had it down to a science. We had fun and can't wait until next year to do it again.

Day 92
I had a session today with my Aunt and cousin. This was my favorite photo of the day. :)

April 1, 2010

Day 91
Today is Brady's 4th Birthday. We gathered with family and had a small party in his honor. I cannot believe how fast these past 4 years have flown by. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing him home and covering his tiny hands with socks so he wouldn't scratch his face. Now he is a running, jumping, soccer loving, dare devil. I wish the years would slow down. The picture on the right is so-very-Brady. It is his new 'picture face'.

Day 90
Today I stopped by my moms house because I was in town meeting with a client. I know my sister is going to kill me for posting these, but I think they are hilarious! The letter is a letter of acceptance to a dance school for her first year of high school. She auditioned and beat out over 100 other girls. We are so very proud of her. She is so passionate about dancing, it makes me cry. I can't wait to see how she grows throughout this program.

Day 89
We went to go look at a house today! It was our first time and we didn't know what to expect. The house was gorgeous on the outside, newer, looked great.... until we walked in. There was at least $10,000 in damages and we couldn't get out of there quick enough. I snapped this picture of Jack once we got outside and his expression is priceless. Seems like he had the same opinion of the house!

March 29, 2010

Day 88
Just a couple pictures of my sweet boy hanging upside down. His smile is so contagious.

March 28, 2010

Day 87
I totally hit the prop jackpot today! I was so excited. I decided to walk into Big Lots thinking they might have a cool shower curtain that would work as a backdrop and walked out with a cart full. They have a ton of other things that I wish I could have grabbed. Maybe next time, eh?

March 27, 2010

Day 86
Today was busy busy busy! We had 2 birthday parties that were 1 1/2 hours driving distance apart. We made it to both and the boys had so much fun! The first party had a magician and I don't think I have ever heard Brady laugh so hard. It was a genuine-innocent-real-child laugh. The second party was at Chick-fil-a, and yes, that is a fork you see my husband using to feed Jack ice cream.

Day 85
I ran across a listing on Etsy for a petal hat and knew I had to have one. I decided it would just be easier to make it myself. I went out and grabbed all of the supplies and had it finished in 2 days. I wish I made more time to do crafts. It is always so therapeutic and I love seeing the end result.

March 25, 2010

Day 84
Steve worked late tonight and the boys and I had to run to the 'city' to grab a few things, so we stopped at Chipotle on the way home. I looked up at Jack and he had decided to use his quesadilla foil as a hat. Brady and I both laughed so hard. Jack has this great budding personality, and I love that he is trying to make us smile.

March 24, 2010

Day 83
The boys and I had an impromptu picnic today. It was very nice being outside in the fresh air. It was very windy and Brady kept hollering "JESUS PLEASE STOP MAKING THE WIND!!". I almost choked on my fries. This is a picture of the little "party cup" that came with his meal. I am so upset I didn't get a picture of the actual picnic, and it was one of the rare times I decided to leave the camera at home.

March 23, 2010

Day 82
There is just one thing to say here:
"Mom made Shake n' Bake.......and I hayulped!"

March 22, 2010

Day 81
This is Jack's carseat. We had to turn it around last night. We had planned on keeping him rear facing until his 2nd birthday and for some reason I never thought to check the rear facing weight restrictions on his seat. I checked and the poor child was over the limit. When I say 'over' I mean "omg I am the worst Mother in the world why did I never think to check that before" over. So, we have a forward facer now and he is terrified. It is a struggle to get him into the seat, I'm not quite sure why either. Crazy little kiddo.

March 21, 2010

Day 80
After a long night of karaoke-ing we hopped in the car and met my Mom and sister at a local pancake house. Their food is so good, especially the sausage gravy. I caught Brady sipping on a creamer and it was like watching myself 18 years ago. I used to do the exact same thing and I will still enjoy the occasional creamer at McDonald's. :)

March 20, 2010

Day 79
My brother Hunter is in town and my Grandma asked me if I could take some pictures of the family before he went back to South Carolina. I loaded up my camera and my boys and we headed to a battlefield where I got this picture of my Dad, my brother, and my little boy.

March 19, 2010

Day 78
I had a real session today. Outdoor, natural light, walking, finding our scenery session. I was so excited and it was awesome. On the way in I saw these gorgeous horses just grazing and I knew I had to have a picture once the sun was setting. I have never been a horse person but these particular horses are so beautiful. I am so glad I got the exact shots I wanted when I was on the way out.
